Chris
Wolfe is a track star from Baldwin
Township. He is 17 year of age. He is currently
running for Baldwin High School, and took part in the Nike Outdoor
and Indoor Nationals.
Track Background
Chris
Wolfe was born to run. He went through middle school
running for the track team. He displayed great speed, skill, and
athleticism early. When he reached the high school level, he blew
away the competition in the WPIAL. He was one of the top 400
runners in the WPIAL as a freshman, and his numbers only got better
during his sophomore year. As a junior, he won the WPIAL 4 by 8
with fellow runners Mike Meade, T.J. Hobart, and Dave Adley. After
receiving the batton, he ran from forth place to the lead and kept
that lead until the gold medal was handed to him. He took part in
the Nike Indoor Nationals twice, and the Nike Outdoor Nationals
once. His running style emulates that of LSU's Xavier Carter. He
hopes to run in college, and he has received several offers
already. Some of the school's showing interest are Virginia,
Cincinnati, and Miami.
