Chris Krause, also frequently referred to by his full name Christopher J. Krause (August 3, 1987) is an American philosopher, poet, iconoclast and rhetorician.
Krause is an emerging intellect responsible for reintroducing stoicism as a viable, pragmatic way of living. Krause is also known for his commentary on metaphysics which is focused around the concept that it is futile and actually destructive to attempt to explain anything seemingly divine or really anything outside the human body. The senses, Krause argues are inherently flawed and cannot be trusted and instead the best way to be happy is to "grasp at nothing" external to us. Krause modernized Stoic ethics and added a great deal to the foundation in his currently evolving " Random Thoughts on Ethics, Rhetoric and Metaphysics."

A number of Krause's essays, poets and memoirs are avalible from his personal website.
