"Christmas Time" is a song recorded by Bryan Adams. It was written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance[1] and became Adams' most popular Christmas song. It written and recorded in Vancouver, Canada. Twenty years after it was first recorded, the song still receives significant radio airplay each year during the Christmas season. No music video was shot for the single. The song won Gold Single Award for 50,000 sales of the 45 RPM single in Canada. It reached #4 at Billboard Christmas Chart.

According to Bryan Adams official website, the song (rarely) appears as bonus track in Bryan's hugely successful 1983 album Cuts Like a Knife.[2] The song is also available in these albums:

  • The Christmas Hit Collection (Arcade, 1989)
  • The Best Of Rock Christmas (Polystar, 1995)
  • A Musical Christmas From The Vatican / DVD (2002)
  • The Very Best Of Rock Christmas (Polystar, 2005)
  • Christmas #1 Hits (2006)
  • Now Christmas 3 (Warner Music Canada, 2008)

Bryan Adams still performs this song at his concerts, especially during the Christmas season.

In 2001 Adams performed the song at the Vatican for Pope John-Paul II. The performance was included on a DVD, released in 2002, titled "A Musical Christmas From The Vatican".

The song's lyrics are about the joy of Christmas time and about peace, freedom and anti-racism.
