Paper Description
Accelerating Artificial
Neural Network Learning via Weight Predictions My research project
for Machine Learning (a graduate course that follows Artificial
Intelligence);
received highest grade in class (99/100).
Improving Evans Library's Hours of Operation For Scientific
Technical and Communications class, I formed a group of students in
hopes of extending Florida Tech's short library hours. I worked
hard (personally handed out 200 surveys, set up interview with our
President, obtained records, and wrote this entire report). The
president elected others to present our results, and our paper was
posted on his Quality of Life Committee's site.
The professor of
the course now uses this paper as the example to
follow.

Childhood:
I
had the best childhood possible. I was reared in a lower-middle
class neighborhood (in a suburb north of Atlanta, Georgia) and had
unconditionally loving parents who taught me priceless lessons,
including good morals, human decency, appreciation and respect for
others, and the importance of not being materialistic or falling
for money.
I played sports, mostly baseball, nearly everyday ever
since I was 7 years old. Those sweltering summer days were the best
days I've ever had. I learned a lot from the early eras.
Early
Education:
I worked pretty hard in primary school (elementary
and middle-school). A few friends called me the human-calculator. I
liked Math a lot.
Secondary Education:
I started to slack
off in high school; I cared more for having fun with my friends. I
aimed for A's, but I didn't even stress too much over low B's. I
barely graduated in the top 33% of my class (132/420).
College
Education:
I've started to work hard in my academics. I have
decent grades, and I've developed a higher, genuine care to learn.
Moreover, I've recently been trying to have more fun outside of the
classroom, and I've consequently learned a good deal more about the
human race. My experience at Florida Tech definitely has been
memorable.
