Cindy Chiu Lewis (born May 12, 1980) is an American film actress originally from Taiwan and raised in Texas. Her films include Coach Carter (2005), Prison-A-Go-Go! (2003), Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), The Shanghai Hotel (filmed 2006 and still not released), The Foundling (2009), and the short film Interpretation (2008) which has won over 50 awards (including the Cannes Film festival and Sundance).
Her TV appearances include the final episode of The Shield (FX), The Mentalist (CBS), The Middleman (ABC Family), Greek (ABC Family), Heroes (NBC) and most recently The Forgotten (ABC).
Cindy was a cheerleader at Kingwood High School and graduated in May 1998. She then left to attend Stephen F. Austin University in Nacodoches, Texas where she was also a cheerleader. She would later transfer to Texas Christian University where she continued cheerleading. Upon graduation from college she left for Hollywood.
She received her breakthrough role in Bring It On: All or Nothing.
In August 2009 Cindy married Patrick Lewis of Kingwood, Texas.
Cindy grew up in Kingwood, Texas and was born in Taiwan; Her parents are Tawainese.
