Cindy Hovde (born January 24, 1987 in Grasse, France) is a singer who rose to popularity after
placing seventh in Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne 2005, the
Norwegian version of Pop
Idol.
Cindy's elimination came as a surprise to many. On the
night of her elimination she was in the bottom two with Christian
Stenseng who many thought had the worst performance of the night.
Cindy was known for her stereotypical diva song choices and being a
favourite to win from both fans and the jury. After the show Cindy
was signed to her father's record label.
