the leading pharmaceutical company in Papua New Guinea in terms of
turnover and the wide geographical spread of its 22 retail
outlets.
Founded in 1986 by current directors Mahesh Patel and
Alan Jarvis the company listed 6,761,000 shares in the Port Moresby
Stock Exchange in February 2002 which are trading at over K2.50 per
share.
Professional qualified Papua New Guineans occupy the
senior level positions of Assistant Manager Warehouse &
Distribution, Marketing Assistant and Computer Manager. The core
business is the provision to Papua New Guineans of medicines,
health care and beauty products; it is also a very large purchaser
of products from other PNG suppliers. The company conducts
substantial business with the Government and services hospitals,
mining and petroleum projects, provincial governments and major
institutions. It also has large-scale wholesale distribution
activities throughout the country.
