Clacket Lane are a four-piece band from
Kent in
England.
The guitar infused indie rock band has a unique style and the band proudly admit that their influences come from a “great love of Seventies progressive rock” which can often be seen in their live performances with the dynamic range of lead singer Ben Freebury’s voice and impeccable drumming of Mick Bennet.
These elements help to create a solid base for what has been described as "a memorable and original sound".
Late 2006, Clacket Lane were signed to Electronic Alchemy records and released their debut double A-side single “When the Night Comes” and “Out of the Dark”.
This was made available through
iTunes and other digital media outlets.
The band intend to release a second single shortly.
The band have appeared on
Mercury FM,
BBC Radio Kent,
ARFM, and
Radio Caroline.
The band is currently touring the country and the
University circuit promoting the single and the forthcoming album
The Man Who Fell From the Moon.
Clacket Lane have featured as the support band for key acts including;
Razorlight,
The Feeling, and
