Clara Maass Medical Center is a hospital in Belleville, New Jersey that is part of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System.[1]

History

The hospital was founded in 1868 as the Newark German Hospital. In 1956 a new building was completed in Belleville, New Jersey.[2] In 2009 Clara Maass was staffed by over 550 physicians with 1,600 total employees.[1] The hospital is named after Clara Maass.
