Clifton High School is a 2A high school in the small central Texas
town of Clifton. The school mascot is the Cubs, and the school dons
the colors green and white. CHS may be most known for academics and
not so much for athletics mainly due to the fact that Clifton has
yet to win a state championship in any sport since its creation,
like many of the other schools in the area. However Clifton has
produced some great atheletes including: Joseph
Mclennan a three sport standout in Football, 1st team
All-State safety, Basketball, and Track, 5th place in the 2A Texas
State Track Meet in 300 meter hurdles. Anthony
Rodriguez a stand-out in football and baseball, also known
as very incredible person, Micheal Sadler,
football & basketball, Raymond Sadler,
football, basketball, and baseball; Raymond currently plays farm
league baseball and was called up for three games for the Pittsburg
Pirates one game in which he hit a homerun, Zach
Henderson, State Pole Vault Champion, JT
Henderson, State Pole Vault Champion, Halie
Henderson, 3 time State Pole Vault Champion, and 2 time
All-State volleyball. Nate Atkins, State Qualifier
in Golf, Eric Canuteson 2 time state qualifier in
power lifting, and many other rising stars, including:
