Cold Summer of 1953 is a post-rock band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Band was formed in 2006 as a trio: D.
Pyanov - guitar, vox; I.
Kostin - bass, S.
Kudryashov - drums, later joined P.
Kultin as a multi-instrumentalist.
For the first time band was under great influence of groups such as Joy Division, Death From Above 1979, Interpol, BRMC and other bands, mostly post-punk.
With time guys got some math-rock, tech-metal, math-core and rave influences.
And now Cold Summer of 1953 has a tendency to call themselfes as art-rave.
