Colin Roberts (born February 12, 1985) is a
prolific
English member
of the British music industry, former Southampton FC trainee and
long-term member of seminal post-rock noiselectro upstarts
[Cultural Ice Age], a name inspired by his hometown of
[Portsmouth].
Having previously been editor of "respected"
online music resource
Drowned in Sound, a site most notable for
its messageboards - a fact that is hated by those that run it.
Roberts has gone on to make appearances as a correspondent for
Sky News in a music
capacity and has written for a range of publications in the UK and
abroad.
Roberts, a native of
Portsmouth, is now an artist manager and A&R
at
Big Life Management in London.
Interestingly, he is most notable for his association with
Clicheguevara.
His sister is Clare Roberts,
known widely as Klaire as she dislikes the letter 'c', citing
Catsup as the key cause. She works for 93 Feet East, hence she was
able to walk to the front of the queue when Radiohead made an
appearance there earlier this year.
