Colin Slater is a radio football commentator for BBC Radio Nottingham, and has been commentating on local side Notts County FC for over 40 years, since the creation of Radio Nottingham, and has been the only person to commentate on the club for the station.

He is seen by some as being the voice of Notts County, and has amassed a cult following, led by sexy Sandra from Bulwell and the geriatric gang.

He is however seen by others as a destructive influence on Meadow Lane affairs. He is more excited when the opposition are on the attack, makes negative comments about players, managers and board members at any opportunity, and on the 2nd September 2006, overstepped the mark when he called fans who had made a 200 mile round trip to MK Dons "fair weather supporters that the club doesn't need", despite Notts being 3-0 down and down to 9 men after an abysmal refereeing performance.

Notts need all the supporters we can get, and to have this pompous man alienating certain fans is not good for the club.
