Combat, or fighting, is purposeful violent conflict intended to establish dominance over the opposition.
The term combat (French for fight) typically refers to armed conflict between military forces in warfare, whereas the more general term "fighting" can refer to any violent conflict. Combat violence can be unilateral, whereas fighting implies at least a defensive reaction. However, the terms are often used synonymously along with the term "Battle Ready".
.Combat may take place under a certain set of rules or be unregulated.^ The awards ceremony then will take place at the gala event some of you may have heard of called Celebration III .

 ^ The event will take place on May 28th at Noon in Petree Hall in the convention center.

 ^ Watching the combat take place shows a pretty intense experience.

 .Examples of rules include the Geneva Conventions (covering the treatment of soldiers in war), medieval Chivalry, and the Marquess of Queensberry rules (covering boxing).^ They also will be covering a convention soon with many of the big Star Wars actors signing.

.Combat in warfare involves two or more opposing military organizations, usually fighting for nations at war (although guerrilla warfare and suppression of insurgencies can fall outside this definition).^ Most people know that MOMC Vintage Star Wars figures usually sell for good money, but AFA graded figures always go for more.

 Warfare falls under the laws of war, which govern its purposes and conduct, and protect the rights of soldiers and non-combatants.
Combat may be armed (using weapons), or unarmed (not using weapons). Hand-to-hand combat (melee) is combat at very close range, feeling the opponent with the body (striking, kicking, strangling, etc.) and/or with a melee weapon (knives, swords, batons, etc.), as opposed to a ranged weapon.
Hand-to-hand combat can be further divided into three sections depending on the distance and positioning of the combatants:

.Combat was, for many people, the first Atari 2600 game they ever played, as it was packaged with the system from 1977 to 1982, until it was replaced with Pac-Man.^ They're showing off the new Miniatures Battles game we told you about first some months ago, Starship Battles .

     ^ The variant lies in the gun packaged with Leia, instead of the original gun shown on the left, Leia is packaged with a normal Imperial Blaster shown on the right.

    • If the missiles ricochet, whether players can be hit by direct shots or not.
  • Whether the play field is open, or whether there is a simple maze in the field or a complex maze.
.Invisible Tanks: When tanks are invisible, they cannot be seen when they are motionless or moving about the play field.^ It would be cool though if there would be a movie about the KotOR, I haven't played the games but the siths I've seen are pretty cool.

 If the player rotates clockwise, the missile's path will bend in a clockwise direction. In this manner, a player can fire a shot and cause it to curve around a barrier in an attempt to hit a player on the other side.
Tank-Pong: In Tank-Pong, the missiles do not stop when they hit a wall. .Instead, they will ricochet off the wall and continue moving on until the missile has accumulated a certain total distance.^ They move along a wall.

  • Whether bullets fly straight, can be guided, or can be fired in rapid succession.
  • Whether the entire sky is visible, or it's partially obscured by clouds.
  • Whether both players have one bi-plane or not.
Bullets: Bullets can be fired in one of three modes. They can be fired straight; they will continue to fly in the direction they were fired in. They can be guided; the bullets path can be bent by the rotation of the player's plane (same as tanks). .Or they can be fired in machine-gun mode; they fly very fast, very short, and appear in rapid succession.^ No signs of them on eBay as of yet but they should start appearing very soon!
Clouds: Choosing a play field with clouds does nothing to affect the gameplay beyond obscuring the location of the biplanes and bullets that pass behind them. .Players can use the clouds strategically to surprise one another with shots fired from within the clouds.^ Another post stating that within one hundred years there will more Star Wars movies.

 ^ This wave includes four new figures and only one repack.

 Game variation 19 provides both players with a pair of bi-planes that fly and shoot together. .Game variation 20 provides one player with a bomber, the width of three bi-planes, while the other player pilots three regular sized bi-planes.^ It sounds like General Grievous is for sure one of the figures while their poll lists the other three.
