The Coming Home Network International (CHNetwork) provides fellowship, encouragement and support for pastors and laymen of other traditions (Protestant, Orthodox, etc..) who are somewhere along the journey or have already converted to the Catholic Church.

About the Coming Home Network

----

The CHNetwork began in 1993 through the commitment of Marcus Grodi and a number of fellow clergy converts in Steubenville, Ohio. From what began as seemingly isolated experiences of several Protestant clergy and their spouses, has grown to a Network of over 30,000 members. The CHNetwork exists to offer support and fellowship to those leaving their pastorates while also assisting the few thousand laity who contact us each year. The CHNetwork is a surprise to many draw to leave their pulpits finding that there are many others being drawn by the Spirit to take the same journey "home."
A newsletter was started back in June of 1993 to bring these men and women to together. From this simple beginning, regional gatherings called Deep in Christ began for Primaries converted and on the journey. In Columbus, Ohio, an annual Deep in History conference attracts over 1000 Christians for fellowship and learning. The newsletter has never ceased, containing a conversion story, articles by Marcus Grodi and apostolate news goes out each month. In 1997, he began hosting the Journey Home Program on EWTN, and since early 2007, the CHNetwork has been airing a bible study program called Deep in Scripture through EWTN radio.
Now, every week the Lord adds new names to our membership as clergy and laity from other traditions seek assistance and encouragement as they contemplate coming home to the Catholic Church.

The CHNetwork has been featured in the EWTN television network as we as in national publications, suchs as Our Sunday Visitor, the National Catholic Review, Christianity Today, Sursum Corda, This Rock, Envoy Magazine, and the New Oxford Review. This lay apostolate has received constant encouragement from such Church leaders as His Eminence Cardinal George, Bishop Paul Dudley, Fr Benedict Groeschel, Mother Angelica of EWTN, Karl Keating of Catholic Answers, Patrick Madrid of Envoy Magazine, Thomas Howard, Dr. Scott Hahn and Fr. Michael Scanlan, TOR, President of Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Our Mission

----

During the past few years particularly, there have been hundreds of pastors and laymen of every conceivable religious tradition showing intense interest in the truths of the Catholic Faith and entering with great joy into the Catholic Church. Even though their conversions may have required great sacrifice, including the loss of friends, family and vocation, they yet believe with all of their hearts that they have truly "come home." The purpose of The Coming Home Network International (CHNetwork) is to provide fellowship, encouragement and support for Protestant pastors and laymen who are somewhere along the journey or have already been received into the Catholic Church. The CHNetwork is committed to assisting and standing beside all inquirers, serving as a friend and an advocate.

Our Work

----

To assist in fulfilling the mission of evangelization and its call for Christian Unity, as most recently proclaimed by Pope John Paul II in his encyclical Ut Unum Sint ("That They May Be One").
In cooperation with the Catholic Bishops, the Coming Home Network International was established to help inquiring clergy as well as laity of other traditions return home and then be at home in the Catholic Church, by providing: Literature, Fellowship and Encouragement, Opportunities, and Avocacy.
