Commencement was Deadsy's second album never to be commercially released. It came very close but was dropped due to the number tracks having been re-used from the past and also for label issues with their own holders. Most of the tracks have been released on the official Commencement release.

  • Trivia

  • "Macroprosopus" is misspelled on the back of this album. Thus, the misspelling "Macroposopus" is in the above tracklisting. This was announced as a typo by the band and later fixed on the 2002 version.
  • Most of the tracks later reappeared on the official release, with "She Likes Big Words" being shortened from the 1999 version.
  • "Commencement" and "Lake Waramaug" fade into each other on this 1999 version. The ending of "Commencement" and the beginning of "Lake Waramaug" were changed slightly for the 2002 version due to the songs not being next to each other in the new tracklisting.
