CommuniGate Pro is the a server software product that provides IP based, Unified Communications services, including e-mail, Voice over IP, IM and Groupware capabilities.

The CommuniGate Pro software is available for across a wide variety of Operating Systems from what is stated in the product guide and from what is available on the developers FTP site.

CommuniGate Pro is available as an On-Premise[1] or hosted platform.

CommuniGate Pro is a software based product for VoIP and Email communications from the company that uses the same brand or identity as the product, "CommuniGate Systems". The product is well known in the messaging market as being very stable and scalable. Communigate Pro holds the SpecMail record for performance [775] as of August 2007. CommuniGate Pro has a very diverse set of markets, ranging from large ISPs to small SOHO offices. The company customer reference list is here [776] and here [777]

CommuniGate Pro holds recent awards for telephony such as the IMS leadership [778] and Product of the Year 2006 Internet Telphony [779]


CommuniGate Pro is claimed to have a very unique ability in its "Dynamic Cluster" [780] clustering technology to chain together servers to form an ever expanding "system".

CommuniGate Pro recently added a client technology called "Pronto!" which is based on Adobe Flash. Pronto! is a so called RIA that won praise [781] for bringing together in a single client many of the forms of electronic communication in use today.
