ComoAnda is a Spanish
and English language
metasearch engine
that pulls results from internet search engines, Gigblast, EntireWeb, and Mozdex. The results area then combined with
results from its own database. All results are passed through a
proprietary algorithm and then displayed based on relevancy for the
particular search.
ComoAnda has been in operation since July of
2005, and is currently
independantly owned and run in Galveston, Texas.
ComoAnda is one of many internet properties targeting a
growing hispanic
internet market in the United States. The number of Hispanic web
users is growing at 2.4 times the overall market rate as reported
by comScore Media Metrix. Search is ranked second in internet
activities most used by Hispanic Americans in the U.S. next to
email.
