from businesses or individuals with free software and distributes them to
disadvantaged individuals and community groups.
Computers are
shipped with a custom DebianGNU/Linux distribution optimised for older
hardware.
Since 1998 Computerbank Victoria have distributed over
3000 computers and recycled around the same.
Kylie Davies is the
Coordinator and Work for the Dole Program Manager for
Computerbank Victoria.
