Connor Gillies is a presenter and
producer for the UK's Commercail Radio Station of the year, Real
Radio Scotland.
Before taking up the roll, he had worked for a
number of Scottish broadcasting organisations - Radio Forth
(Edinburgh), Nevis Radio (Fort William), STV News Scotland Today
(Glasgow and Inverness), Moray Firth Radio MFR (Inverness), Radio
Clyde and the Oban Times (Fort William).
Connor mainly worked
with the news departments in the above organiations, as he says he
is very interested in current affairs. Connor also does on air
producing!
Currently Connor is working with Real 24/7 News and
is presenting a show called "The Real Entertainment Phone
In".
The Gondala Tradgedy, Nevis Range,
Fort William has been
Connor's biggest story to date with him being at the scene within
minutes. With 5 people being seriously ingered. Connor had the
reaction with him being on air with a news flash as soon as he
arrived!.
Connor is enjoying himself at Real Radio and hopes to
say on well into the future!
