<blockquote>
"He
will never be replaced. Even if we searched from one end of this
earth to the other we would never find somone with the same unique
and glourious playing style, i am certain a top club would have
tried to obtain his services if he had played a little
longer."-Kevin Keegan
</blockquote>
He was a very good
friend of
Daniel Baxter-Hughes who currently
coaches Leyton Orient and played along side him for the English
club.
Connor Partos had his defensive idols such as Vincent
Barker, a Leeds Defender who played 521 games for Leeds. His career
began in 1959 and his leadership and playing style was so
spectacular that he was poised to become England captain in the
1966 world cup, unfortunatly he was injured for 8 months because of
a veruca on his right foot. Unfortunatly he never recorved so he
retired from football after being one of the most inspirational
defenders and captains of all time. He died in 1997 from an
overdose of strepsils in Romania.
"He was a perfect player, i
met him 3 times and he taught me all he knew, i thank him for what
a success i was." A quote from Connor Partos, released shortly
before his death
