Conquest is a local government ward
and area of the borough of Hastings, East Sussex. It is in the area of north St Leonards-on-Sea and is named after the Conquest Hospital<ref>A web page about the Conquest Hospital</ref> which is the principal building in the area. The hospital is itself named after, the Norman Conquest which started with the Battle of Hastings which took place about 10 km away.
