Constance Marie (born Constance Marie Lopez on September 9, 1969[1] in East Los Angeles, California) is an American actress of Mexican descent. She is best known for her role as Angie Lopez on the sitcom George Lopez.

Marie grew up in Los Angeles, California. She is part of a third-generation Mexican American family[1] that moved from apartment to apartment, and was raised by her mother and grandmother. Marie attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles. While in her teens, Marie developed a passion for dancing. By age 19, Marie was tapped to dance in Japan in a musical called Cosmopolis by composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. When she returned to Los Angeles, Marie's career took a huge step when she was spotted in a club by a dance choreographer for pop icon David Bowie. She was also playing the mother of Jennifer Lopez in the hit movie Selena.
Marie has been in a relationship with Kent Katich since 1995. The couple had a daughter, Luna Marie, born on February 5, 2009 in Santa Monica, California. Marie volunteered as an actress with the Young Storytellers Program. In October 2007, Marie launched her own clothing line, The Constance Marie Collection.[2]
