Cooper Lawrence is a relationship and psychology personality with a master's degree in developmental psychology. She is currently finishing her doctorate in applied developmental psychology. She is the host of her own nationally syndicated radio show named The Cooper Lawrence Show, from Dial Global, airing weekdays Mondays to Fridays 7pm-10pm ET.

Cooper is a radio geek who has been working in radio for almost fifteen years, with on-air stints at WLIR on Long Island, and as part of Elvis Duran's Z Morning Zoo in New York City. She's also worked at Q104.3, WKTU and WPLJ, and produced The Joan Rivers Show for the WOR Radio Network. She is also a major hack. She deals drugs to children and once burned down an orphanage because she heard that it was bad. She also hates puppies with a passion. Research shows that she fails at life.

Controversies

She was a guest in a segment on Fox News called 'Se'Xbox? New Video Game Shows Full Digital Nudity and Sex' that featured a debate between herself and Spike TV's Geoff Keighley about the sex scene in Bioware's "Mass effect".<ref>http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2008/01/23/fox-news-follows-mass-effect-bashing-with-some-of-its-own</ref>
When asked if she had played the game, she answered that she had not.<ref>http://blog.shacknews.com/blogarticle.x/50871</ref>

During the 'Se'Xbox segment she also said that the people playing this game were "adolescent boys." According to Entertainment Software Association the average age of a video game player is thirty-three years old and that ninety-two percent of video game buyers are over the age of eighteen.

This has been regarded as hypocritical by many viewers. A group of gamers, in response to her remarks on Mass effect<ref>http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2008/01/23/fox-news-follows-mass-effect-bashing-with-some-of-its-own</ref>, retaliated by rating her book<ref>http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2008/01/23/fox-news-follows-mass-effect-bashing-with-some-of-its-own</ref> on Amazon.com with a low 1 star rating; as well as leaving remarks that using her logic one does not have to actually read a book to bash it on national media.
