Coquihalla Mountain is a stratovolcano in southwestern British Columbia, Canada, located 22 km (14 mi) of Tulameen and 29 km (18 mi) north of Snass Mountain. It is the highest point in the Bedded Range.[1][2]

Geology

Coquihalla Mountain is a major preserved feature in the Miocene age Pemberton Volcanic Belt that was erupting about 21 to 22 million years ago.[3] Like the Pemberton Volcanic Belt, Coquihalla Mountain formed as result of Cascadia subduction.
