The
CorNet-IP protocol is a routing protocol developed by
Siemens which is based on existing protocols such as H.323, MGCP, Megaco or RTP and includes the signaling and control functionality required for IP telephony.
CorNet-IP is suitable for internetworking in packet and circuit switched networks.
As the protocol includes signaling, it supports decentralized telephony.
