Corain is a Melbourne, Victoria based alternative rock/alternative metal style band. Formed on the 18th of December 2006, the band has 2 songs and has never had a gig. Band members include Sean (Drums), Jos (Guitar/Vocals), James (Vocals), Mark (Bass), Darren (Guitar/Vocals)

History=

Jos and Darren were in a band called no apparent reason who had to change their name because it had been taken by an american metal band. they eventually changed it to payday and 1 gig with that band at a school carnival.
the band was originally a 4 piece but they introduced a singer after Darren complained he didnt like singing anymore. they had one practice with the new singer before they both decided to quit the band when Sean said he was looking for guitarists.

Corain's first band practice was in December 18th 2006. in that practice, they succeeded in making one and a half songs (without vocals). at that time, the band was called Bullet Proof but was forced to change it after they discovered it was already taken. they changed the name to All The Rage, inspired by Funeral For A Friend's song. the bass guitarist (Mark) was not happy with this name so they went in search of another name. after mant suggestions, they settled on Corain.

All members of Corain are christians and they go to Peninsula City Youth. Jos and Darren play guitar in the band at this youth group and James sings.

No tours are currently lined up. however Corain may have a gig at Langwarrin reformed church on the 26th of august.

a performance highlight is when Darren did a guitar throw at the Ian Green concert last year.

Drums - mapex drum kit with remo heads, dixon double kick and a pearl firecracker snare
Guitars - Schecter tempest extreme (The Repulse) through whatever gear he is using at the time. and darren plays an epiphone special 2 (ugly betty) through a marshall mg250dfx 100 watt amplifier with a Korg toneworks pedal board.
Bass - custom bass guitar with EMG pickups through a 300 watt LKaney bass amp.
Vocals - a microphone as far as we know.
