Established in 1952, Coral Shores High School is located on Plantation Key at Mile Marker 89 in the Florida Keys. Literally surrounded by the waters of the warm mid-Atlantic ocean, the community boasts world famous fishing and diving and a sub-tropical climate which attracts visitors and residents. CSHS offers a full traditional high school curriculum including a variety of Advanced Placement, Vocational, and specialty Courses.

AP Courses include Calculus, Biology, Government, and Literature. Vocational offerings include auto mechanics, design courses, building trades, and marine mechanics CSHS offers a unique Marine Studies program where students become dive certified and take part in genuine scientific research.

Coral Shores High School is now a member of the Successful Practices Network, sponsored by the International Center for Leadership in Education. The not-for-profit Successful Practices Network is an alliance of more than 600 schools (K-12) that have made a true commitment to continuous school improvement.
