Corine Christensen (1955[1] – 1986) was a prostitute, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) student, and cocaine abuser[2] who was murdered in California on November 3, 1986. Christensen specialized in performing kinky sex acts for money.[3] With her boyfriend, James Marino, she also supplied drugs to Richard Bandler, the co-developer of NLP.[4]

Christensen was shot in the face at her townhouse in Capitola, near Santa Cruz, with a .357 Magnum owned by Bandler, and died of her wounds.[5] On January 29, 1988, Bandler was acquitted by a jury, after 5 1/2 hours of deliberation, of the murder.[6] Marino, who testified he was present during the shooting, was not charged.[7]

The case is officially unsolved. Christensen was the daughter of a San Francisco policeman.[8]
