Cornelius Greene (born January 21, 1954) is a former American football quarterback who played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and professionally in the Canadian Football League. He played under legendary coach Woody Hayes. He was the first African American Quarterback to start at Ohio State, and received many death threats from organizations like the Ku Klux Klan. However, these threats subsided when Greene proved himself to be an amazing player, both on and off of the football field.
