Cosby High School is a public secondary school located in Midlothian, Virginia.

Cosby is a part of Chesterfield County Public Schools and is located at 14300 Fox Club Parkway. The school mascot is the Cosby Titan.

Cosby High School opened for the 2006-2007 school year.


In its first year of operation, Cosby High School won three Dominion District titles:

Wrestling (Dominion District Co-Champions)
Girls Cross Country (Dominion District Champions)
Boys Baseball (Dominion District Champions)
Cosby Girls' Basketball—Central Region Champions

The Boys Soccer team reached the Dominion District and Central Regional Finals, placing as runner up in both events. In the Central Region Semifinals, the Titans shut out the Thomas Dale Knights, who until then had a state-record 67 consecutive matches won, including two consecutive state titles. Upon reaching their regional finals, they received a Virginia State Cup birth. In the first round they defeated Kellam High School at Kellam. In the second round they lost to Osborne Park, 3-0.

In its second year of operation, Cosby High School won more Dominion District and Central Regional titles:

Cheerleading (Dominion District Champions)
Cheerleading (Central Regional Champions) Baseball District Champions, Regional runner up, and state quarter finalist Soccer girls and boys district champions Softball regionals and district champions Outdoor track district champions...including many individual champions

Also had five D-1 baseball players sign in the first graduating class 2008

Health Science Specialty Center

A Health Science Specialty Center opened in the fall of 2007, with a goal of developing special partnerships with many community health organizations such as Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, VCU School of Medicine, Chippenham/Johnston-Willis Medical Center, Brandermill Woods Retirement Center, and John Tyler Community College programs.
