Cosmic Call was the name of two interstellar radio messages that were sent from RT-70 in Yevpatoria (Evpatoria) in 1999 and 2003 to various nearby stars. The messages were designed with noise resistant format and characters, which make them resistant to alteration by noise.
The project was funded by Team Encounter, a Texas-based startup that went out of business in 2004.[1]
The messages were sent to the following stars:[2]
