Introduction

Cottingham Football Club are no longer, despite almost 100 years of football in village of Cottingham. They played their home games at Berryfield Road. The stadium is no longer, with the stand now removed along with the flood lights. The changing rooms were knocked through to make the village hall bigger. Despite efforts to keep the football club going by ground sharing with Corby Town at the Rockingham Triangle Stadium in the 2003/04, the club would later fold in 2004. It was argued by many that it was no longer the same by playing in the near by town of Corby.

History

They joined the United Counties League in the 1979/80 season. In this league they came runners up on 3 occasions and were champions in the 1999/00 season.
