About

Country Capital RPG is a web forum-based RPG created by Ryan Safner.

Country Capital RPG, created by Ryan Safner, is an independant forum-based RPG, where members can create and control the progress of their own countries as each try to become world superpowers. Players can unite with one another to promote world peace, or, through careful planning, send the entire world into chaos and start world wars. Many options are available to players in terms of governments, country location, units, and much more. Organizations can also be created by members, and can be joined by other members who all share the same goals or beliefs. So join up, and become immersed in a world of politics, national intrigue, and all-out warfare.

Set in the modern world, Country Capital RPG contains many units and buildings reminiscent of today's modern technology, and some that members can create by themselves. Although the units are set and cannot be changed, nation leaders can determine what weapons and arms their troops can use. These can range from assault rifles to futuristic weaponry, such as laser rifles. This is just an example of the many aspects inherent in Country Capital RPG. Since it is a role-playing game, members can dream up almost anything for their nation- from a communistic society with capitalistic economies, to a fascist empire with socialist roots.

Rules

The rules will seem daunting at first, but many are just there for future reference, as they can be memorized quickly.

Creating Your Custom Nation

Join A Region

You must select a region to join. You may pick any 10 sectors from one region, they do not have to be adjacent. Pick a region of your liking in the Regions board and post your choice of sectors in the respective topic. If there are less than ten sectors availible in any region, you may not join that region. Please pick another region or wait upon the creation of a new region.

Post Your Country Profile

Please create your country and post it in the Countries board. It is suggested that you provide as much information as you wish on your country, such as its background and ideals. However, there are four things that you must include to be admitted as a nation:

Government Type: You may pick from the following governments.

Economy Type: You may pick from the following economies.

Military Draft: List the percentage of your able-bodied population that will be drafted.

Income Tax: List the percentage of income that you will take from the population.

You may change these statistics at any point, must make an announcement in the Internal Affairs board, as to prevent sudden changes, which would be cheating. (Dictatorships do not have to, but must PM an admin).

Note that there are more rules, these are located to begin members on their countries.

Member Nations

The Krussian Free States Union: A society of allied communistic states with a socialistic economy, the Krussian republics has a large, centralized military that is controlled by the premier and his governmental party.

The Reich of Laustralius: An imperialistic nation spread over a large area. The people of Laustralius believes that safety is in a large military. Laustralians are a very generous and peace-loving people, but if they feel in any way challenged they will show no mercy.

The United States of Rezelia: As the first nation to arise, Rezelia is a democratic nation. However, it focuses on its major ideals, both internally, and globally. These are best summed up on the Rezelian flag: "Freedom, Firepower, Fraternity."

The United States of States United Together: A society of states that is under a republic government. It is a peaceful nation that will not hesitate to defend itself. Expansion is always of the mind of the citizens of States United.
