Craig B Hulet is a writer and public speaker based in Amanda Park, Washington. Mr. Craig B Hulet is Government Policy Analyst, Security, Terrorism, Military and International Relations Expert and remains a private business and security consultant to corporations and individuals.

He first gained public attention appearing on a number of talk radio shows during the late 1980s and early 1990s speaking against the policies of the administration of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, particularly the war on drugs, the Persian Gulf War, and the Iran-Contra and October Surprise scandals. During this period he was based in Seattle and often used the pseudonym K.C. DePass for his radio appearances. Hulet remains unmarried.

"From the so-called War on Drugs to World Peace this is the man to interview; if you really want the documented facts about how this government formulates policies, ... and why, this may be the best guest out there!" What you'll hear you'll never forget!

--Mike Siegel, Seattle, named one of the nation’s 100 top talk hosts

In 1991 he became a frequent guest on Pacifica Radio denouncing the Gulf War, and produced a number of "white papers" (over sixty to date 2005) on various political topics and tapes of his public speeches, which he sold through his consulting business, KC & Associates. His paper Terrorism: The Causal Relationship is a primer at many federal, state and local law enforcement agencies (primarily ATF&E where Hulet has periodically been a professional consultant for twelve years).

A handful of other commentators and activists on the left began to denounce Hulet as a result of the frequent Pacifica appearances, claiming that he was invading their turf, mixing the conspiracy theories of the John Birch Society regarding a new world order in with his antiwar analysis. The harshest of these was a brief smear campaign in the form of a type-written Q&A paper by Sara Diamond and Richard Hatch (who was living with Diamond at the time); it was claimed to have been widely circulated in the Bay Area left, which claimed that Hulet was exaggerating his credentials. This was later proved to be entirely false and much of it outright lies and slander, as Hulet was at the time and remains today a professional consultant to federal law enforcement and the ATF&E of the US Justice Department and Homeland Security and assistant to Congressman Metcalf. He is, as well, a highly sought after and paid security/political and business consultant with over thirty clients who have retained him on an annual basis for 12 years. Diamond's most ridiculous charge was warning that he might be part of a secret "recruitment effort" by the far right to promote the "new world order" conspiracy beliefs among the left. This was, in her case and Chip Berlet's, their own overblown conspiracy theory about Hulet. Chip Berlet picked up the theme as well and included Hulet prominently in his report "Right Woos Left," a monograph arguing against political cooperation between progressive activists and groups on the right with a right-wing populist or conspiracist political orientation around such issues as opposition to the Gulf War, the alleged October Surprise scandal, and the JFK assassination. Hulet, as is now quite well-known, has always been a liberal and virulant anti-racist and has never belonged to any group whether left or right. These reports Berlet has claimed had the effect of chilling Hulet's reception among the left and curtailing future invitations to appear on Pacifica. Berlet even lied on the air often, claiming he personally got Hulet banned from Pacifica Radio. It was later proven to be utterly false charges leveled at Hulet and Hulet wrote a lengthy analysis refuting each lie told by Berlet and Diamond. Point of fact: Hulet took himself off Pacific Radio as a gesture of friendship with Roy Tuckman, Barri Scott and Dennis Berstein who (all of them and many other hosts) had stood by Craig's appearances and his credentials. He later appeared on major TV shows (CNN, C-Span, Arsenio Hall, etc.) and became a permanent fixture as guest expert and military/terrorist analyst on The Jim Bohannon Show, and was a guest expert every month on KLOS/KABC Los Angeles for 18 months before the last elections and too many other talk shows to count with over 12,000 hours logged in interviews Coast to Coast for over 20 years.

“Craig is a man who I call for expert advice on international and domestic terrorism, and white supremacy, (to name a few)... (Rita Rich, Producer The Jim Bohannon Show)

Craig B Hulet was KLOS/KABC Los Angeles Radio, the Impact program's regular Military Affairs expert and Political analyst every first Monday of every month through the 2004 election. Mr. Hulet has appeared on Fox T.V., CNN, C-Span, Daybreak, and CNN Entertainment News,The Arsenio Hall Show, Carl Wiglesworth (KTSA, San Antonio); Dave Ross (KIRO, Seattle); Mike Siegel (for 15 years on seven stations); "Up-Front" with Robert Mak, (KING 5 T.V., Seattle); and hundreds of T.V. and radio shows over some twenty-five years. He was the first guest to appear “live” in Washington D.C. on the Jim Bohannon Show five minutes after George Bush’s September 20th, 2001 terrorism speech, as a terrorism expert and again January 30, 2003

Hulet has appeared on major talk shows with two active duty Special Agents of ATF&E (then with the US Treasury Department) as an ATF consultant refuting Militia leaders' claims that there were no ATF agents in the Murrah P. Federal building the morning McVeigh blew it up. Hulet's credentials are no longer in question as his appearances and public work of 25 years has outlasted the smear campaign orchestrated by Chip Berlet and the (then) student volunteer at Pacific Radio, Sarah Diamond and her boyfriend Hatch.

In 1995, following the Oklahoma City bombing, Hulet turned his attention to denouncing the militia movement and the growing influence of Christian patriot beliefs in conservative talk radio This resulted in his first invitations to appear again on Pacifica Radio since the Gulf War period which he did as a gesture of friendship to (primarily) Roy Tuckman. He appeared often in live TV formats to debate the militia leaders like Militia of Montana head John Trockman. Many individuals walked away from their membership in miliitas after hearing Hulet on the Radio and TV and in lectures he gave to militia groups themselves where Hulet explained their illegality to them.

Also in 1995, he wrote two widely-read articles for an issue of Soldier of Fortune magazine denouncing the militia movement, Linda Thompson, Liberty Lobby, and The Spotlight newspaper and their conspiracy theories. The perfect place to denounce the militias of course. These works have been cited in such prestigious journals as The International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (Justice [No. 6 August 1995] ); and Hulet's works have been utilized as part of curriculum for courses on Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism (St. Cloud State University, [Cj 489: National Security Issues and Terrorism] ); and he is often cited by other journalists in articles on the war on terrorism, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Hulet is a published author who has written four books:
  • Human, All-Too-Human Hulet, A Fin de Siecle Nietzschean Retrospective (1999) (ISBN 0967788609)
  • Global Triage, An Imperium In Imperio: A Nietzschean History of a Future (1999) (ISBN 0967788617)
  • The Hydra of Carnage: Bush's Imperial War-making and the Rule of Law (2002) (ISBN 0967788625)
  • “Foreign Affairs Affects Domestic Policies” (1993) (Council on Foreign Relations --Foreign Affairs Reader, out of print);

  • “Hulet is in love with what America could be and as one of its harshest critics he is also one of America’s best friends.” (Prof. Dean Pickard PhD, Head of The Nietzsche Society

Hulet has written two screen plays and three treatments for major motion pictures.

Oliver Stone said of Hulet, “I have known Craig Hulet for a number of years and find him to be one of the brightest guys in the nation with an insightful mind and a wealth of knowledge....my abiding admiration and respect.”

"Craig Hulet is considered one of the most respected political analysts on the scene today. Hulet has been receiving more and more attention on a national level, appearing on both CNN and the Arsenio Hall Show." -- Jim Crabbe, William Morris Agency.

He continues today as a guest on talk radio shows, public speaker, and highly paid political/security consultant, and frequently appears still on the nationally syndicated Jim Bohannon show and KLOS/KABC Los Angeles and others. He was retained by former Congressman Jack Metcalf as Special Assistant for Special Projects (and Metcalf's speech writer) during his three terms in Congress.

Mr. Hulet served in Vietnam 1969-70, 101st Airborne, C Troop 2/17th Air Cav graduated 3rd in his class at Aberdeen Proving Grounds Ordnance School MOS 45J20 Weapons.
