Crossroads Church[1661] is a non-denominational, Bible teaching church that strives to provide a place where love of the Lord Jesus is made real and the Word is made relevant. The church is located at 1303 N Tx-287, Decatur, TX.

Teaching God's Word

At Crossroads, we believe that "all Scripture is Godbreathed and is useful for teaching..." (2 Timothy 3:16) Therefore we teach and study straight through the Bible. Sr. Pastor Ty Lovell's expository teaching method breaks the Scriptures down, providing a way to discover the application and relevance of every part of God's Word.

Praise & Worship

God's Word says, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" (Psalm 150:6). Praise and worship is one of the fundamental parts of Crossroads Church. Our praise team has an authentic and genuine style of leading contemporary praise and worship. We believe our praises should only serve to exalt and glorify the Lord.

Youth & Children's Ministry

Our children are the future. We have as our priority, the teaching and equipping of those children and young adults God has put in our charge. Our desire is to provide a solid foundation, from which they can draw, as they grow and mature. The Word says to, "train up a child in a way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6)

Life Groups

These small groups are designed to provide a venue for people to personally connect to others in their walks of faith, to disciple and be discipled, to meet and have met physical and spiritual needs, and to reach the lost in a
non-church setting.

Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is God's inerrant inspired Word. We revere its truth and respect its reproofs.

We believe that there is one true holy God, eternally existing in three persons:

†Creator – God is our heavenly Father, infinitely perfect and intimately acquainted with all our ways.<br>
†Jesus Christ – our Lord, God in human flesh; the object of our worship and the subject of our praise.<br>
†Holy Spirit – the third member of the God Head, at work in us teaching, convicting, conforming, and comforting.

We believe that because of sin, man is without hope of heaven, apart from a new birth made possible by faith in the Savior's death on the cross and bodily resurrection. Those accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord should repent, confess their sin, and be baptized.

We believe that the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost, exalt God, encourage God's family, educate for maturity, and equip for ministry.

We believe that Jesus will one day return, which could occur at any moment, and He will reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We believe that all will be judged, believers to everlasting life with God in heaven and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God.

As members of the body of Christ, Christ's followers affirm and uphold the fundamental truths of scripture and refrain from promoting other doctrines in ways that cause dissension within our body.
