cs_747 is a hostage rescue map in the first-person shooter game Counter-Strike and is set aboard a plane which is landed at an airport. It is a particularly claustrophobic map by Counter-Strike standards.

The Lay-Out

The objective is to rescue 4 hostages from a plane (not a 747 actually). The Counter-Terrorists begin in the airport terminal and the Terrorists being in the plane with the hostages. The plane can be exited either by the door in the front or by the cargo ramp below. There is a third route on to the plane available to the Counter-Terrorists: they can drop on to the nose of the plane and break through the cockpit windows. The map is based on the actual hijacking of Air France Flight 8969.
