Curtis Ujah (born
July 22,
1988 in
Sheffield,
England) is a professional
footballer, currently playing for
Crawley, where he plays a central
defender.
Ujah began his career at
Reading, coming through the club's youth system.
He was spotted by a Reading Acadamy coach when his side, Pinnacle, played against a Reading side.
He was captain of the club's Under-18 side in
2005-06 season, and won Reading's young player of the season award that year.
After completing his scholarship at the end of 2005-06, he signed a short-term deal before signing a professional contract in September 2006.<ref>

Slough Town.
After leaving
Reading, Curtis signed a short term deal with
Conference side
Tamworth, for whom he played his first first-team game, against
Exeter City on
April 7 2007.
In August 2007 Ujah joined Conference side
Crawley Town after a brief period at League One side
