Cytech Technology is a manufacturer of Home Automation and security systems in Singapore. Its core product is Comfort, the Intelligent home System, an integrated Home Automation and Intruder Alarm system with digital Answering machine.
Comfort is an advanced full function Intruder Alarm with 8 zones expandable to 64, with up to 8 keypads. It has built-in dialer to 8 telephone numbers including telephones, Central Monitoring Stations and pagers and with the GSM option, through text messages or SMS. It can control lighting, airconditioning, heating, curtains, AV equipment, in fact anything in the home through relays, infrared signals, X10 through the power line, or dedicated interfaces. The Door Station intercom allows users to talk to visitors at the door using any phone in the home. When no one is at home, the system calls the users mobile phone to allow him/her to talk to visitors, and even to open the gate or door.
The built in answering machine can record messages from incoming callers or through the keypad. Users can call home to control their security and home appliances. Time Programs can automatically switch off or on home appliances at programmed times of day or night. In Vacation Mode, when the home is unoccupied for some time, lights and other appliances can be switched on and off in asemi-random manner to give the impression that the home is occupied. In event of an alarm the user can listen to sounds in the home through the keypads which have built in speaker and microphone. An extensive series of interfaces are available to external lighting
systems like C-Bus, KNX, Lutron, Ulti wireless lighting switches, Honeywell Smartfit, Rako , access control systems and other third party systems through an open serial interface protocol. Other options include Embedded webserver for Internet Access, Fingerprint Reader, GSM Module, designer Scene Control Switches, wired and wireless touchscreens, handheld remote controllers, Media Centre Edition software. Configuration software allows the system to be customised by the installer for user requirements
