Dwayne "D.J." King (born June 27, 1984 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan) is a left winger for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 190th overall, by the Blues. King, known as an enforcer,[1] made his NHL debut October 5, 2006 against the San Jose Sharks after spending time in the AHL and ECHL.[2][3]

After being scoreless in his first 24 NHL games, King scored his first career goal on April 4, 2007, for the Blues in a game against the Phoenix Coyotes. He scored on Coyotes goalie Curtis Joseph.[4] King played the rest of 2006–07 for the Peoria Rivermen. He played in 27 games for the Blues during the 2006–07 season, registering two points (one goal, one assist) along with 52 penalty minutes.[5]

King's 2008–09 season was ruined by a season-ending shoulder injury playing only one game for the Blues. He returned for the 2009–10 season however in a one sided fight against Krys Barch King broke his hand sidelining him for several weeks [6]
