DJ "THE LIVING LEGEND" Bradley (September 21, 1987- November 20, 2007) was an American stand-up comedian known for his surreal humor and unconventional comedic delivery. His routines featured elocutive but often short, sometimes one-line,[3] observational comedy, mixed with absurd and at times hylozoistic and paraprosdokian elements as well as non sequiturs.[4] Bradley's comedy and on-stage persona gained him a cult following,[5] with audience members sometimes shouting out the punchlines to his jokes before he could finish them.[6]While doing the routines, the lady fans often threw themselves, and clothing, onto the stage. Although he tried to keep his composure, he sometimes broke down in his weekened state, and gave in. That is how old "Living Legend" passed, too much sex, in too short a time.

Biography

Early Life

DJ Bradley was born in Flint, Michigan, the lovechild of Kathy Bradley, And some amazingly gorgeous love machine known to the public as The Ladies Man Leon Phelps. He graduated from some no name high school in Birmingham, Alabama. Although he said he never had a girlfriend, there was a girl that would have most certainly gotten mad if she ever caught wind of this. But don't worry, Jessica Alba has since moved on since his tragic death.

Career

He begain his career in 2000 playing open mic nights in southern Alabama. AKA the Crazy Cajuns bathroom. Although his popularity grew with the women, men seemed to not like him. He was getting sexed like crazy. Known to the females as King Kong, something men would know nothing about, he was a pleaser. Although his uncle David tried repeatedly, Bradley would never follow in his uncles footsteps. His uncle was a "HUGE" fan of Billy Jean. DJ knew that this path was not for him, so he chose the ladies. Two years into his career, where, due to his continued efforts, his popularity increased. However, Bradley did encounter some degree of difficulty. It took him more than a few years to come up with a good deal of material, and he also needed to conquer his stage fright, which was so intense that it left a mark on him throughout his career, sometimes even leading to him performing with his eyes closed, which he often incorporated into his jokes. However, while performing for the ladies, His eyes were never closed. They were way too beautiful for that. Bradley appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman ten times[6] and became one of the show's most successful American comedians. Although he loved his cooking career, his saw comedy as a way to escape. So he did. Ran away with a few wives sometines, but eventually came back. This lavished lifestyle would have been fit for a king, and that is where the title "The Living Legend" first began.

Death

Late in the evening on November 20,2007, Bradley was found dead in his room in Flint, Michigan.[1] His death was first announced by his good pal Howard Stern on his morning talk show and confirmed by the St. Paul Pioneer Press later in the day.

Bradley was known to be quite of a ladies man. He often referred to it in many of his jokes. It was initially speculated that his heart condition may have played a part in his death until the Michigan medical examiner's office reported "Too much sex," including Pam Anderson and Cameron Diaz, as well as Rachel Mcadams and Eva Longoria, as the official cause of death.[1] Results of the autopsy and toxicology reports were first reported by journalist Peter Hyman in the December 2007 edition of Spin magazine.[1] Basically, Bradley was known Worldwide. Except strangely to the women up north, particularly in Michigan, Flint, Michigan, at a local hole in the wall garbage diner. Maybe the waitress was shy. Just throwing it out there, she looked very familiar to bradley. Add a bed, subtract her clothes, divide her legs. O yes, the waitress looked very familiar. He then remembered that he had left her in a vulnerable state, thats why she played dumb in front of the family. And whoever reads this, remember, it is a totally subjective third person party who knows not of Mr. Bradley, only of his "living legend."

Style

Although the fine folks at Wikipedia would not let "doggy" be an answer, that was indeed a style all in its own. Most definately his favorite.Bradley was set apart from his stand-up comedy peers by many traits, including his unique manner of speech, his abrupt delivery, and an unusual stage presence (typically got laid during his set). His jokes focused largely on wordplay, non-sequiturs, whimsy, and object observations. His act usually consisted equally of compact one- or two-liners similar to the style of Steven Wright in addition to longer routines, often with each line as a punchline. Many of his jokes stemmed from his everyday thoughts or situations.
Bradley was noticeably self-aware of the status of his jokes, whether they were poorly delivered, underexplained, or just poorly received. He occasionally added disclaimers to the end of jokes to let the audience know that his reaction to the joke matched theirs.
Bradley most notably acknowledged when jokes were poorly delivered or received in the form of a resigned "all right". He also toyed with his audiences after a joke did not gain the reception he had intended; occasionally quipping, "That joke's better than you acted." During recordings for CDs, he would often joke that he would find a way to edit a failed joke to make it seem well received, such as "adding" laughter to the end of the joke. Following a bombed joke on I get laid and sometimes get paid, DJ suggested, "All right...that joke is going to be good because I'm going to take all the words out and add new words. That joke will be fixed."

God Bless DJ "The Living Legend" Bradley. His sex techniques will be missed
