DJ Happee (sometimes spelled DJ Happy) is a DJ, turntablist, and music producer

Born Jimmy Nguyen, DJ Happee began his DJ career after meeting DJ Niques (creator of various beats used by DJ Qbert). After learning basic techniques, Happee went on to compete in various DJ competitions, such as the DMC, also known as the Disco_Mix_Club. In 2000, Happee moved on and started focusing on releasing music including various scratch and battle records. In 2002, Happee was ushered into the radio and music industry by friend and mentor, DJ Slyed. Happee currently has a show on XHTZ Z90.3 FM and can be heard Monday through Friday in the afternoons. Contributing to the turntablism genre, and currently working on his sophomore album entitled, The Renaissance, Happee is set to showcase the turntable as a lead instrument over hard-hitting beats.
