DJ River (River Edén)

DJ River, born in 1979 in Falun, a small town in northern Sweden, is a mixer specializing in Ambient, Chillout, Lounge, House, Progressive, Chill house, Deep house, Trance, and Psychedelic genres of music. He has released several mixes since his debut, including the popular "Room" series of mixes. His mixes are frequently played by online radio stations such as Digitally Imported (DI.fm and Lounge-Radio.com)
Recently, his work also became available through the iTunes Music Store.

Frustrated by the low-bitrate of available electronic mixes, DJ River decided to try his hand at mixing albums. His first mix, titled " Ambient Chillout Mix 1" was released by accident, when DJ River placed the mix onto a shared folder on his computer. A multitude of positive feedback made him decide to continue mixing albums<ref>DJ River's bio</ref>.

DJ River's popularity stems from the fact that the tracks in his mixes are selected with great care, and often form a cohesive whole, with nearly-transparent transitions between tracks in a mix (his mixes are offered as free downloads on his website as a CD-length MP3 file with no breaks, along with a CUE file to separate the tracks upon burn).
