Daddy DJ is a dance act from France consisting of David Le Roy and Jean-Christophe Belval.
Their debut self-titled single "Daddy DJ" released in October 2000, reached 2nd position in the French top 100 for almost 5 months. In Germany the song reached 7th place, while in Switzerland the song reached 22nd place in the charts, in addition to the singles The Girl In Red (41) and Over You (96). In Austria, the debut single reached 8th position.
The band is about to make a comeback with a new album titled Rock Machine, due to be released in France.[1]
A new remix of the song Daddy DJ was included in the UK-released compilation Clubland 13[3], in the style of Basshunter who used the melody of this song for his hits DotA, All I Ever Wanted, and S3RL's Pretty Rave Girl.
