Dallas Valley Ranch Camp is a "4-Season Camp & Retreat Center" <ref> Official Website</ref> 20 minutes northwest of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Art Thiessen has been the executive director since 1995.

History==
They began about 25 years ago and are now capable of hosting 1250 campers over the course of a summer. The rest of the year, they minister to adults and host groups. <ref> About Us</ref>

In 1979, the land was donated to the Canadian Sunday School Mission (CSSM) by a couple whose son had passed away. By July 1983, they were able to host their first campers in two different sessions. <ref> History</ref>

Skills


A camper, from both Conestoga and Main Camp, choose for the week four activities that they do daily Monday through Friday. Some options are: Horseback Riding, F.O.R.C., Riflery, Archery, Canoeing, Swimming (Mandatory at Conestoga. Optional at Main Camp), Mountain Biking (Conestoga only), LIT (Leader-In-Training) Training (Conestoga only), and Crafts

NIGHTGAME!


One of the funnest parts of going to DVRC are the nightgames. These are games that are played after chapel each night in which campers are unaware of the game throughout the day till it actually happens at night. The most popular of these is Mission Impossible in which campers and counsellors compete.
