Career highlights

Damian Squire (born 15 November 1973) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Port Adelaide in the AFL and both North Adelaide and Sturt in the SANFL.

Ironically he was an avid Port Adelaide supporter when he was growing up but due to where he lived in North Adelaide's zone (only 10 minutes from North's home Prospect Oval), he ended up playing for the Roosters in the SANFL.

A half forward, Squire was a member of Port Adelaide's inaugural AFL side in 1997. He was delisted at the end of the season and returned to the SANFL with North Adelaide, who he had played for since 1991. In 1999 he crossed to Sturt and won successive Magarey Medals in 1999 and 2000. Squire was a member of Sturt's 2002 premiership side and was a best and fairest winner in 1999 and 2005. He represented South Australia at interstate football on seven occasions during his career.
