The religion's found, one known only as Beef, was quoted once explaining the quarterback, "Unfortunately he may be forever remembered for throwing an errant pass to Kenny Wheaton<ref> Chiefs agree to terms of a three-year contract with QB Damon Huard</ref> and precipitating an unfortunate chain reaction of events that will ulimately culminate in the catastrophic implosion of the known universe on January 7, 2008; almost 4 years premature to the end of the 12th Baktun cycle!"

Origins

Damon Huard "unknowingly caused the inevitable collapse of the universe by throwing what Oregonian Folklore calls "The Pick;" the first in a series of unfortunate events that is due to culminate with Oregon playing in the BCS title game this January. Unless Tom Cruise wills it otherwise. Hopefully Kansas victory in the Big XII championship prevents this, umm....yeah...grillers.....comfy. comfy."

On the possibility of the end times it was said that "the only way to avert this tradgedy is to strap on Purple Helmets for this years Apple Cup. And to recite the legend of Luke Huard and what may have become of him...."
