Benton (born
March 26,
1983) is an
American sportswriter and columnist for
AOL Fanhouse,
MSG Network and Screaming Sports (FS Dashboard, Incorporated).

Brandon Rosage.
He is a staff writer at both FanHouse and MSG, and currently serves as the Content Director and a G101 contributor for Screaming Sports.
MVN
In December of 2003, Benton was successfully recruited by Frank Palmieri and
Evan Brunell, who had recently started a sports blogging network known as Most Valuable Network.
As part of his job with the company, he began avidly covering the
New York Yankees,
New York Mets,
New York Rangers and
Albany Conquest.
However, as the company grew, Benton was asked to expand into field of football coverage, where he eventually founded the now-famous and award-winning Giants 101 blog<ref>

He served on the executive board for two years before his departure in October 2007.
He currently resides in his mother's basement but hopes to some day become a homeowner.
FanHouse
In August of 2006, Benton was successfully recruited by Jamie Mottram to join
AOL Sports' newest platform -- FanHouse.
It was the latest in sports blogging networks and would soon become the largest and well-known blogging network in the world.
Since joining FanHouse, Benton has covered various NFL teams including the
Arizona Cardinals,
Buffalo Bills,
New York Jets,
Kansas City Chiefs,
Green Bay Packers and
New York Giants.
MSG
Thanks in large part to a referral courtesy of FanHouse producer John Ness, Benton was signed as a staff writer at
Madison Square Garden in October of 2007.
As an employee of the world's most famous arena, Benton covers all New York area sports teams for MSG's "Game On!" section.
Screaming Sports
In October of 2007, shortly before his hiring at MSG, Benton was also hired to become the new Content Director for Screaming Sports.
In only a few short months, Benton had assembled a team of over 15 professional staff writers that covered each area of the fantasy world, and added a little spice to the one-of-kind FS Dashboard application.
Early in 2008, Benton began to expand his role at Screaming Sports and become more involved with the marketing side of the business.
In addition to managing his team of writers, he also began running
Search Engine Marketing campaigns and dealing with various content exchanges.
