Dan Collins (born February 26, 1987 in Carthage, New York) is an American ice hockey forward for the Johnstown Chiefs.

He was drafted by the Plymouth Whalers in the 2nd round (32nd overall) in the OHL Priority Selection draft. Collins' 2005-06 season with the Plymouth Whalers was cut short at the end, due to a herniated disk in his back.
Collins spent the 2007 between Rochester and their ECHL affiliate, the Florida Everblades. In 2008, he played in Rochester, scoring 18 points in 28 games while accumulating 34 penalty minutes.
On October 8th 2009, Collins was assigned to the Johnstown Chiefs.[1]
