Dan Weller is one of the guitarist of the UK tech
metal band, SikTh. Both Dan
and co-guitarist Graham 'Pin' Pinney both play leads due to the
technical nature of SikTh's music. Their playing is recognizable by
complicated shifting between power chords, legato runs, and two
handed tapping. For equipment, Dan uses a PRS Custom 24 in a
variety of low tunings (down 1/2 step: Eb Ab Db Db Gb Eb#; drop Db:
Db Ab Db Gb Bb Eb and drop Ab: Ab Eb Ab Db F Bb) and plays through
either a Diezel Herbert or Peavey 5150 head.
